Explanatory note for VTU Youth Fest:
Classical Vocal Solo
· Only one team per college is allowed.
· Maximum number of accompanists is two.
· Item can be presented in either Hindustani or Carnatik.
· Film songs are not allowed under this team.
· Sufficient thought and care must be exercised in the choice of raga and composition.
· Judgment will be based on the qualities like Swara, Tal, selection of Raaga composition and general impression.
