GENERAL INSTRUCTION:
1. Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology is one of the most reputed affiliated institutions of VTU situated at Gubbi, which is just 21km from Tumkur.
2. Only Bonafide VTU Students are allowed to Participate.
3. Maximum of 40 Participants which includes Accompanist & Staff Coordinator are allowed.
4. The Accompanying artists may be Bonafide Student of VTU. How ever professionals are also allowed.
5. The total number of accompanying artists should not be more than 6 members.
6. The events will be conducted as per the norms prescribed by the University and all the participating team are requested to take part & uphold the spirit of competition.
7. Participants should compulsorily wear event ID card issued during registration.
8. All participants should report to the event coordinators 30 minutes prior to their performance.
9. Participants are requested to bring their own instruments/materials/Accessories. Participants should not disclose their identity during their performance.
10. The professional accompanist shall sit / stand separately from the Participants and should not lead the team.
11. All the decision taken by the organizers & the Judges is final & binding.
12. The hard copy of the duly filled eligibility Proforma should be sent on or before the last date.
13. Transportation from Gubbi railway station / bus stand will be provided on prior intimation.
14. All the Participating Colleges are requested to inform date & time of arrival and mode of Journey (Railway / Bus) in the entry form.
15. Strict discipline should be maintained all the times.
16. Registration Counter will be opened at the main entrance of the college on 1st November 2010 at 8:00AM.
17. A meeting of all the managers is arranged on 1st November 2010 at 11:00AM in Seminar hall.
18. Food will be provided for all the Participants and officials.
19. The respective College will have to bear the travelling expenses.
20.All the teams are requested to participate in the Inaugural Function at 10:00AM on 1st November 2010 at Main Stage in CIT Campus.
21. In case of any damage to the properties of CIT the cost will be borne by the miscreants.
ACCOMMODATION:
1. Boarding and unfurnished accommodation facility will be provided during their stay here on prior intimation (excluding Tumkur colleges). If possible, the participants are requested to bring light bedding and warm clothing.
2. The participating teams are informed to pay the caution deposit of Rs.500/- for Boys and Rs.500/- for girls accommodation, which will be refunded at the time of their return.

3. The participants themselves are responsible to their baggage/luggage(s).
4. All movements from and to the rooms should be recorded in the movement register kept with the security guard and should be properly signed.
5. The security guard has instructions to lock the gate 30 Min after the completion of the day’s events and it will be open at morning 06.00 AM.
REGISTRATION:
1. The last date for Registration is 15th October 2010.
2. The hard copy of the duly filled eligibility Pro-forma should be sent on or before the last date.
3. Late entries will be strictly not entertained.
4. Identity Card: The managers accompanying the team must bring with them the current identity card of all the participants.
5. The additional 2 photographs of every team member with the Name & USN written on the back side should be sent along with the eligibility pro-forma.
6. Professional accompanist should also send the photograph along with them.
7. Participant College has to pay the entry Fee as below.
a. Team participating in up to10 events - Rs. 2,500/-
b. Team participating in more than 10 events - Rs. 5,000/-
DD should be drawn in favor of Principal CIT, Payable at Tumkur.

SECURITY GUIDELINES:
We, at Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology, are committed towards organizing a safe and comfortable VTU Festival 2010. For the same we request all the participants to obey the following rules and regulations .
1. All the participants must carry their participants’ Identity card (which will be issued during Registration) at all time during the Fest and should produce on demand by the CIT security guard.
2. Consumption of liquor or any other intoxicant and smoking is strictly prohibited within the College premises & Accommodation places.
3. We bear no responsibility for the loss or theft of the belongings of any participants. You are requested to take care of your valuables (Cash / Jewelries / Luggage) during your stay.
4.Any kind of indiscipline behavior by any of your team member during the time of any event, or after the events shall lead to the cancellation of the college registration and hence from further participation in the event. The respective college will be immediately intimated.
